Lye By Mistake are the best thing to come out of St. Louis since Nelly. Abrasive technical hardcore with the most ridiculous wide range of playing styles. Before everyone came their panties when Between the Buried and Me used so hoe down and tribal shit, Lye By Mistake were grinding with the best of them thrashing through their own fucked up versions of traditional Chinese music, Latin, jazz, old school prog and fucking bluegrass to form their own style of progressive music. Vocalist Tony left after recording an unreleased demo and are now releasing instrumental material.

Lye By Mistake have been pretty quiet recently so who knows what their status is. I feel bad posting this but with virtually no activity from the LBM camp, I suppose it's time for this gem to be unearthed.

This demo contains 3 unreleased tracks that will probably never see the light of day. One of which was posted in two parts on the band's myspace page.
