And now, one of my favorites by this legendary Japanese doom band. Possibly the best showcase of every side of the gargantuan sonic force known as Corrupted. Each track gets progressively more aggressive and more chaotic, leading to an obliterating climax. I honestly cannot recommend this band enough. As far as slow paced metal goes, you can't really do much better. If you don't like Corrupted, you're just a sorry old twat. End of story.

Lye By Mistake are the best thing to come out of St. Louis since Nelly. Abrasive technical hardcore with the most ridiculous wide range of playing styles. Before everyone came their panties when Between the Buried and Me used so hoe down and tribal shit, Lye By Mistake were grinding with the best of them thrashing through their own fucked up versions of traditional Chinese music, Latin, jazz, old school prog and fucking bluegrass to form their own style of progressive music. Vocalist Tony left after recording an unreleased demo and are now releasing instrumental material.

A 20 grindfest about a colossal city divided into 4 parts. They are supposedly writing/recording/grinding a new album entitled "Fuck Everything" but I haven't heard a damn thing about it since early 2008 or something so I'm not going to hold my breath. Until then I'll add Robinson to the list of great bands with only one release to their name.
